Over the next few months, we’ll be featuring inspirational people and organizations from across the country who are working toward a making Canada a healthier place for youth.

Today’s post shines a spotlight on Ontario, where Children’s Mental Health Ontario has launched Kids Can’t Wait, a critical advocacy campaign to convince the Ontario government to support children, youth, and families with mental health and substance use needs.

If you live in Ontario, you can support the Kids Can’t Wait campaign by:

    1. Visiting the campaign site and sending a letter to the Premier, Kathleen Wynne, the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care, Eric Hoskins, and the Minister of Children and Youth Services, Michael Coteau.
    2. Sharing the Kids Can’t Wait campaign site and letter with your friends, families, and people in your network.
    3. Contacting your local MPPs to request a meeting to discuss Ontario’s child and youth mental health crisis.
